Let's settle the debate. Pulled them from this list below, so use this for your reference:

Couldn't add all the variants for the rose, so feel free to discuss below if you love or hate one of them specifically

    Shocking isn't it.

Seen it discussed before on here because I can remember making an SVG of it for someone to use for something, but can't remember the details now. Maybe for a tattoo?

Town's coat of arms for me... by itself, no shield.
Not sure if I've imagined this, but was there a season or two in the mid 70's when we had no crest on our shirts?

In order of preference, the current coat of arms shield for me followed by the other 2 coat of arms and then the Toby tyke one. The rest are crap.

What about none of the above? It needs a complete revamp

Whatever the badge it must contain “Spectemur Agendo”. It should be explained to every signing as acknowledgement of what is expected.

I'm normally a traditionalist when it comes to club identity but actually I'd be all for a new crest to be designed.

As this thread probably proves, we don't really have a clear theme for the badge on the shirt as we've had so many down the years that look so different to each other. People will have their favourites probably based on childhood nostalgia of when they fell in love with the club, which means there's no one look that feels definitely Barnsley.

Plus for me there's a bit too much going on detail wise in the current badge to look good printed on a shirt, or in the digital age.

I thought it was such a shame when Mansford tried about 10 years ago that all the options on the vote were terrible and already outdated.

I'd be all for a similar vote put to the fans if we had some sleek, clean cut modern designs to choose from.
