Under Bassett it didn’t usually matter - we had the fire power to wipe most teams out and a system/tactics in place to enable it.

No late surge coming from us which means we’re biting our nails

We just overplay it too many times in our attacking pushes IMO. Not knocking em though as we are creating and most importantly winning matches. It's only an issue if the goals dry up.

Unrecognisable this team to the football produced in the last couple of seasons.

COYR keep it tight for last 10.

Ref clearly has this down for a score draw. Watch him play 10 extra

Excellent win, deserved it over the whole piece. Up to 3rd, game in hand on 2nd, Cardiff dropping pts. What's not to like?

We made heavy weather of winning that one.

The second half started scrappily, but we gradually took control. DKD headed in from Ogbeta’s knock-back to put us ahead. Soon after, a superb cross-field ball from Phillips led to Ogbeta being brought down in the box—Phillips tucked away the penalty, and you could argue he deserved the assist too.

Then we switched off, let them back into it, and they pulled one back. DKD should have wrapped it up with a fourth after a well-worked move, but instead the game opened up and got messy. A big block from Cooper preserved the lead and helped redeem his earlier mistake.

The final 20 minutes were littered with errors, but we dug in and held on. No standout performances, though there were plenty of solid ones. Bland, for me, was excellent again—calm, composed, and tireless in covering ground. My MoM.
