Simon Davey, who in there right mind picks 1 striker on the bench in a F.A Cup semi final and no offense but a very inexperienced one at that.
Nearly £700,000 worth of strikers not even in the squad. Why take Christensen and not put him on the bench, ill tell you why - to prove a point about who is the boss. He should have swalowed his pride and gave him a chance today so thank you Davey for being a arrogant git.
Oh and Odejaye really needs to go, either loaned out or sold because he is just not good enough.

And another thing, Wembley the stadium is brilliant BUT the logistics of getting in and out is absoloutley pathetic. I wouldn't go to watch england there if i got given tickets.
And another mention to the ****** in front of me who threw his hat over the edge on the final whistle and walked out calling the team a bunch of *******, see you in 10 years at our next big game.
And another thing, i am absoloutley gutted.

Lovely shiny new stadium Built in an absolute **** hole of a place. You get robbed to **** for food and drink. £6.10 for a pie! £3.50 for a pint of piss. Actual piss. And the coach park isn't just badly organised, it's dangerous. Walking about in a warren of coaches with only a couple of feet between them is ridiculous. Someone is going to get killed. It's a national embarrassment.
Not to mention ... all those closely packed coaches had their engines running as the hapless hordes were trying to locate their buses.
We were ******* gagging by the end. Anybody with asthma would have been in right bother!

RE: Not to mention I was one of them, could i **** find the bus and the fumes were killing me. Then when the buses are full do they let them out in any order - NO! They just let them bottle neck into a tiny corner, wembley is **** and the milenium stadium pisses on it as a day out.

You're right I thought it was lousy, not a patch on the old Wembley or the Millennium, and the queue for a gentleman's piss was the longest and most laborious I have ever encountered.
I bet no women's queues anywherehave ever beaten that!

good things about wembley pretty arch that you can see from 5 miles away (or 2 hours coach drive depending on how you want to look at it) good view even from the **** seats escaators to get up there. Bad things infrastructure and getting there surrounding area (shithole) prices lousy facilities deathtrap (barnsley coaches parked BENEATH cardiff fans), not a police officer in sight.
thats about it, explains one thing though the first couple of matches televised from the new stadium, there was lots of comment about how a lot of seats were empty at the start of the second half (e.g. people knowing that half time lasted for 15 minutes, corporate people still quaffing champers etc), we now know that the reason for the empty seats is that blokes were still in the queue for the toilets
RE: good things about wembley how come escaators ony went up coudn't they reverse them for coming out or is that not possible ?
were they all the carbob footy print coaches! lol glad we went down the day before and did a bit of sightseeing. Extra cost of digs but worth it imho.
What did Christensen ever do? I reckon he must have backscuttled Davey's missus. It's the only explanation for him being frozen out the way he has.
RE: good things about wembley They'd be extremely dangerous going down with the press of people behind.
Escallators were out of order at entrance K Which was a bit annoying as that meant climbing umpteen million flights of stairs to get to the seats
Agreed! Also..... There was a guy sat in front of me and all he did was slag the whole team off at some point. He seemed to take turns first it was Ferenczi then when he was subbed he turned his attention to JCR then to Coulson. Every other word was F....ing this and that. Never heard so much bile in my life! When he started shouting "ger em off" and get someone else on I realised he must know nothing about the team as all we had left on the bench was Togwell, Butterfield and Letheren! There wasn't a chance those players would have made a difference to the game. Davey IS to blame as he should have been a big enough man to either play Christensen who to what ive seen and his pedigree at a higher level to Barnsley is better than Odejayi by a mile, Or bring the proven goalscorer that the team is crying out for. For all out neat attacking football we looked without cutting edge up front. Dean
