Nevertheless I could not resist having seen Trump's latest utterances (made to the 'Wall Street Journal' no less). A) Does Coronavirus cause early onset of Dementia and B) Has Trump got it........ If ANYONE came out with the following comment, let alone the POTUS, you would be astonished as to how thick they must be and yet he still has millions of followers hanging on his every word. The last time I laughed out loud at the stupidity of a politician was when Michael Gove stated that the objective was to make "ALL schools score higher than average in the Performance targets" Before that, I remember John Major with his classic "When your back's to the wall you turn around and come out fighting" TRUMP ! ......... "testing is overrated" because "in many ways, it makes us look bad." Jeez!!!!
What's more worrying is he's now regularly saying that foreign governments are going to be sending out tens of millions of mail in ballots to US citizens and that the upcoming election is going to be the most corrupt ever. It's so ridiculous as to be almost laughable but it isn't. He was deliberately teeing up his supporters at a speech to yell out to him to call covid the Kung Flu virus which they duly did and of course he obliged. The stuff he is now starting to get up to in undermining the election is in the ballpark of treasonous.
Yerbut! his utterances are getting more surreal by the day. Clearly he never read any Mark Twain (ironically a fellow American) whose famous quotes include.. “It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt”
I think its because he’s not caught onto the fact that for once he has come up against an opponent that he can’t bully and bad mouth into submission

It’s hilarious that in years gone by, a candidate didn’t become president because he screamed funny at the end of an impassioned speech (The Dean Scream) but we now have someone who can seemingly say and do absolute anything and not be impeached/not lose supporters.
