    Mason Holgate looked the part.

Turnbull is outstanding and has been in most games.

Lita is not 'shot' and he most definitely has something to offer.

Exactly the same positives I took from the game mate. I'd question whether Turnbull has been outstanding in most games but he certainly was tonight. All three were great this evening.

Cheers. That's good news when squad is struggling.

Honestly think we'll turn a corner by new year and push for play offs. We're still in with a shout without having strongest team or playing anywhere near our best.

Really really hope Digby, Bree and a returning RNL get a run of games and show the future is really bright. Looking forward to second half of the season.

Also thought Abbott did well. Certainly seemed to add a bit of bite.

Glad to see there's other people who watch the game properly.

I thought Holgate was excellent, especially when you take into account he was only selected in the starting line up due to Dudgeon picking up an injury during the warm up. Well done lad, you can rightly be proud of your league debut.
Also, I thought both Turnbull & Lita had their best games yet in a Barnsley shirt. The pair played well & I thought Turnbull fully deserved his MOTM award. Anyone claiming Lita's legs have gone is simply wrong.
For me, it was a totally insipid performance tonight. Hopefully, we'll get back on track next Sunday.

Yup tonight was a very poor game of football. Holgate did very well, looked composed and not out of place.

Another positive I'd take, was given we were outplayed for ~60 minutes, we didn't lose.

I'd argue we never actually looked like losing. They could have scored 4 in a 5 minute spell in the first half, were it not for some brilliant saves from Turnbull. But after they got the equaliser they didn't cause us that many problems. Their passing, which was fast and accurate up until their goal, went to pot and they looked as bad as us. I actually thought we looked more likely to get the winner as the game went on, despite never playing well.

    Lol

I thought when they scored it was going to crumble. But jay has it spot on. They kind of stopped....

And I want the bookies to open back up. 1 a piece would have been the score I picked.

    Thats me done again

    Great innit....

Nay mind. Next week I predict we will win 6 nil. Surely it cant happen again :)

Perhaps. I'm trying to figure out if, their goal aside, there was a chance for either side in the second half.......maybe another header from Nyatanga near the end. A really poor game of football. Have I said that already?

Oh I can't say that about Jay. You're right, of course, but he'll get all big headed about it if I admit that!:D
I'll remind you next Sunday about your prediction!:D

Those 3 were definitely positives plus a decent cameo from Abbott. Deadly dull though and chuffing freezing.

I agree Abbott seemed to get stuck in during the short time he was on.

I was worried about Holgate in the 2nd half after he made that **** up just before the break but he came out & just seemed to get better & better. The longer it went on he seemed more composed & was more confident in the tackle.

Abbott did ok, got stuck in a won a few 50-50's but you'd expect him to against tired legs when he was fresh. Decent cameo though.
