Theres a fair chance that all the teams down the bottom could be on 50 points or more after Satdys matches with at least 3 matches to go

I can see Leicester beating Colchester, Fowls beating Plymouth, us gettin something at Preston, Coventry at home to Stoke and Southampton at Charlton both need a point to reach 50.

if that all happens, what do we reckon the safety mark will be then?

who ever goes down will be unlucky as they will be going down on a number of points that any other season would have season us safe

only team in this league that could hold there own in the prem is west brom, possibly bristol city simply because they'll spend a lot on players if they go up

Would not bet on that. Hull are likely to win this league, and if they survive one season will have introduced additional tiers to their meccano-land stadium. Better positioned on gates than say Wigan, Fulham, Reading, Bristol, Stoke etc.

Has this changed from when you produced the relegation stats a few weeks ago?

    no...........................

since the division went to 24 teams , in the 19 seasons no-one has gone down with 53 points-I see no reason to think that will change-teams are at the bottom because they deserve to be-it's not likely that they'll all start playing scintillating winning football at this stage of the season wwhen the pressure is at its greatest

I do agree, clubs are down there because they dont win as many games.

Concern this year is the unpredictability of results - as shown last night.

Can't seen Southampton Coventry getting any points Sat

Nor Washday for that matter. I do however think we should get at least 1 point at Preston.
