Weird. Especially that scene where they pin his eye lids back.

I think you're supposed to watch it whilst on acid munching a space cake, then you get it.

Yeah, but it's written using a lot of 'Nadsat'; the language spoken by Alex and the droogs in the film. Takes a little while to get your head round.

Banned for a long, long time - I saw it on a pirate VHS 20 years back. The famous Scala cinema in Kings Cross was shut down for showing it.

Bit like Fear and Loathing, then.

Watched is a teenager cos I heard there were tits in it. Wasn't disappointed.

    Quality film.

I particularly enjoy the scene in which Alex and his droogs are attacking that couple in their home, whilst singing/dancing/kicking/punching along to 'Singing in the Rain'.

Decent film, worth checking out, bit dated. Nothing special though.

Iconic and excellent film but very disturbing and sinister, not really one you'd "enjoy". I remember it got re-issued when I was a student in leeds and we went to a late night showing- loads of people walked out

a film that heralded the way Britain would go

and it certainly has. The clothing styles are different, but the rest is. Young thug culture with a language all of their own. Then richer level looking down and not really caring. Then the goody two shoe PC brigade trying to interfere and getting it totally wrong.Yup its turned out just like the book said, but as I said with different clothing and vernacular.
