1. Winnall and Bradshaw have had very similar goal-scoring records in recent times. Tell me one good reason why Sam should be on the pitch over Tom? 2. With Aidy White's notoriously bad injury record, is it really worth keeping him at the club? 3. Around £1.5 million was racked up on Kpekawa, Moncur & Bradshaw alone in the summer. Will it be money well spent? 4. Looking at the attributes, experience and weaknesses of Ryan Kent he seems very similar to Harry Chapman. With the latter performing very well at our neighbours, should we have stuck to what we know? 5. This time last year the signings of Long, Toney, White, Isgrove & Hammill had undoubtedly improved a struggling side. Are the new rules on loan signings unfair and should the club dip into the free agent market again?
1. He's probably a better finisher. 2. Yes - cos he's class when he does play. 3. Get your crystal ball out. 4. No. Kent is better than Chapman. 5. No. We can try and sort things out - like every other club - in January. Which seems fair. To me.
1. Tom should now be given a fair chance to prove his worth. 2. I've no problem with Aidy White staying at the club. He's the best all-round full back we have. The mistake has been not bringing in experienced cover. 3. If it hadn't been for the Stones and Mawson windfalls, the fans would be going into orbit about some poor spending decisions. 4. Chapman made poor decisions in the final third as well. I'd have moved heaven and earth to bring Isgrove in and Kent should have been his cover. Elliot Lee was a waste of a signing. 5. It's the same for everyone, so the new loan system is fair. I don't think we have fully appreciated its impact as a club though. We have left ourselves short of depth and quality in certain positions.
