no passion what so ever shown, its about time that the players had a wake-up call, and realise that we cant win games by sitting back and playing for the point. Today, i believe Davey was playing either a 4-5-1, or a 4-1-4-1. Nardiello struggles to do sumthin when he has a player to supoport him. What on earth was davey thinking. Another point, i couldnt tell whether the formation was 4-1-4-1 or 4-5-1, because Kay was all over the place. GERRIT SORTED AND PULL YA SOCKS UP BOYS :-| :-| :-|
You were mentioned on radio lad.... He said gello to all the bbs'ers... and said Pandy Tyke a know you are listening... but the sounds of it you were at the game.

RE: really??? That Andy firth a think... 1 of the 2 mentioned you just said i know he will be watching.
I heard that too Just as he said, he wished all BBSers the best, and especially to the PaNda TyKe
Thought he probs knew you.

Andy Firth, i understand why he said that now, ive never actually met the fellow but he is a right boy...heel know what i mean
Tactics were! We play Nardiello up front on his own and then bang long hopeful balls and ask him to run their back four down. The lad is sometimes lazy but he was on a hiding to nothing today. Togwell worked his boll--ks off today and his frustration was clear. Kay looked out of position in midfield but I guess that's not surprising given he's now converted to a centre back. Austin, Atkinson, Reid, Devaney all worked hard imo but the tactics were all wrong. We sat deep and allowed them to have the ball in wide positions. In the first half we were lucky several times when they coudln't get a final touch to a cross. In the second half we were undone very quickly - and I'm thinking Mr Davey will now surely cfhange it and put someone up front with Nardiello. He didn't for maybe another 20 minutes. Then Reid gets injured but rather than move Kay into the back four and throw on another forward he brings on Hecky. We are poor and unless things change drastically we're going down. We're in a worse position now than we were with Ritchie. We're negative and boring to watch and can't defend well enough to go away from home and shut up shop. I'd rather see us have a go than watch rubbish like today. I hope I'm wrong but I'll be amazed if the signings over the next few weeks turn it around. Why should anyone want to join us. We're in the bottom 3, players won't be attracted because of our managers reputation and we apparently are one of the lowest payers in the division. Dosen't look good does it. I know I'll be slated for saying this (and we have to move on) but our Chairman should have been able to sort out the crap with Ritchie and if he couldn't he should have had a manager lined up and appointed within days of sacking him. We're a bloody shambles!
Fortunately not £29 well saved! But our expert commentators said pretty much what you did about the game, and I agree with your related comments
RE: Fortunately not £29 well saved! This is a home game for me as a live locally - and even I regrertted going. My two brothers who live in or around Southampton came and were sorry. Should just about be home now.
