Why? Ignoring the fact the loan window is closed. Radlinger has been fine and Collins looks OK based on his one appearance. I'd be looking at free agent centre midfielders personally which we should have sorted in the summer.
Didn't realise until now that Paul Hart is assistant manager to Nathan Jones at Stoke. Check this out: A question asked to Paul Hart by a local reporter got the following response. Paul Hart was genuinely taken aback when asked at the open-training session if Davies was injured - that was certainly our assumption after seeing him fail to make the early bench. So we have to assume the management team haven’t liked all they have seen from him in training, which in turn makes dropping Butland an even bigger decision. Maybe not a falling out but perhaps he hasn't impressed enough in training. Either way he's nowhere near the first team at present.
