    Are you sure?

100% sure? Do you know everything that has been done and said?

Whilst I may agree with that, it doesn't take too much of a visionary to see that Hammill is going to be a star in the future. I'd be interested to know how much of a sell on clause Liverpool have stuck in there.

Exiled we shouldn't be thinking of selling hammill for a long time. If hes on a 3 year contract and we do well hopefully in a year or 2 he will sign another big contract.

sure I agree...........but in the real world, he'll have 2 good years with us and then we'll sell him for £6million to a Premiership team.........Fabian Delph ffs?
He's too good for us................unless we're in the Prem by then..............but thats just silly...........

    Will be a great signing

Hope we don't do the usual - let him get near the end of his contract and go for next to nothing:'(

Of course exiled and if things work out this year we will have some real good players. If this is the starting line up for often that not at oakwell i will be pleased. hammill anderson iceland lad Jcr. From what Ive seen of the 3 what have played for barnsley before i can see a lot of other clubs haveing a look and then keep looking. RNL butterfield colace devaney for back up plus others is a great thing and i thank cyrne and Davey for there work over the summer.

"Disco" can take a seat on the bench now.

As much as i like him and fan of his, he's not good enough to start all the time in the CCC.

Good squad player to have though, would definetely keep him as back-up.

I think I need to go to VisionExpress, he looked ok but some of the things that have been posted about him recently are ludicrous 'sell him for £6 mil after 2 years' ....barmy

Durk what exiled was saying is if delph who has not played at champ level can go for 6 mil what would hammill go for if he has 2/3 years of good champ football.

The lad as never had a good run in a team in England, only time hes had a good run out was at Dunfermline, in my eyes and i say my eyes this kid could and should go a long way as long as he is developed in the right way. Undoubted ability but needs to be channeled in the right direction.
