does anyone know if young matt rose got home ok he got left behind because the police wouldnt wait for him to get back on the bus so he got left behind
Amazing considering what happened there last week! WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS v BRISTOL CITY Saturday 3rd November 2007 - KO 3:00 PM COCA-COLA CHAMPIONSHIP MOLINEUX A large early arrival by City supporters in Wolverhampton Town Centre resulted in a number being escorted by Police to the stadium. During the match there were a number of minor incidents involving both Wolves and City supporters which were dealt with by stewards and the police. After the match, with all supporters exiting together, a group of Wolves ‘supporters’ engaged in disorder with City supporters as they were waiting to be escorted back to the coaches and railway station. Although no arrests were made at the time, the police were required to use force to keep the two groups apart.
What does make me laugh...
....is that if this was a thread about racist name-calling it would be ten times longer by now and bursting at the seams with moral outrage. Apparently kicking someone's head in is ok with the wise and worthy of this board.

22.231 people at a 'sporting event' and .......... .......... no Police, how can that happen? It's only a matter of time before somebody is seriously injured or worse at these so called 'low risk' football matches, that aren't policed. I asked a police woman why they weren't at the match or in the surrounding areas afterwards, she said it was deemed a 'low risk' game based on the fact that there was no trouble last season ....... absolute madness. Is this about the Football Clubs refusing to pay for the Police, or the Police giving priority to other 'jobs'? Makes you laugh really when every home game we have South Yorkshire's finest on every street corner, riot vans, dog vans, horses etc., even when there's hardly any away fans!!
Are we or have we got a bit of a reputation Seems like every time we go away there is a mass brawl Every home match there are police out in force and stood on every corner
We can't have a reputation outside of Barnsley ........ ......... cos places like Southampton and Wolverhampton wouldn't deem the games 'low risk' if we had, however, South Yorkshire Police must think we have, cos every home game is policed to the same level as Celtic v Rangers!!
Its to do with thw wigan and cardiff games the other year. Bit of barmy and up goes the budget to deal with absolutley nothing. Majority of the games at Oakwell are now over policed costing the club £1000's. The Wigan board have started to protest at OTT policing costs. It will only be a matter of time at Oakwell.
