Is it the sam GJ who we had a few years ago. If so i always liked him. Some on here would have a fit though
He was dog for us and according to my brother in law who's a ST holder at city he's been pretty poor for them in recent weeks apart from the cup games! He thought he was great at start of season but has now come to realise what us poor suffering reds had to witness back then that he is a lower league player with little to offer other than running around aimlessly a lot!!
Not good enough, never was. 100% commitment though. Can't be judged on one off cup games for Bradford, even the Rochdale board were saying they were right to get shut.
I remember Kevin Donovan having a good game, once.... and Steven Bennett scored twice for Athersley t'other day.
If we wanted him he'd walk back here. At 35 he'd have another chance to play at a decent level, plus a signing on fee and a payrise. All he'd have to give up would be a one off Wembley match. That said he wasn't right good first time around for us and is knocking on so hope Tyke1 isn't being serious
He had his chance & come with two left feet, the division was too big for him at the time & most probably still is now. So no thanks
Which game was that - and were you drunk at the time? I definitely missed it not sure I would want Jones back - Id say 4th division is really his level but he is definitely a better bet than Donovan ever was - to my mind the worst player to regularly wear a Barnsley shirt
