disagree you cant say that for certain nobody can, neither can we say for definte that we wouldnt be,
RE: If Ritchie was still at the club we would be in league 1 already Just how do you know that for certain? I have never worked that one out. You know everything like, but I cant work out how.
RE: Just like Huddersfield. He did a great job there
He didn't learn from his Oakwell sacking and continued with the same style of non-coaching until it got him the sack again.

RE: If Ritchie was still at the club we would be in league 1 already When St.Andy was sacked the Club was in the bottom three and he said on Radio De Da that we were a League 1 Club.
We were in a worse position than we are now.

I dont remember him saying we were a league 1 club I remember him saying that getting back to the premiership wasnt realistic but not that we were a league 1 club
Because We are not in the relegation zone whereas we were when Ritchie was sacked. Maintaining the current league position will be adequate for survival at the moment whereas Ritchie would have had to improve league position. No-one can see things that didn't happen. No-one can know what would have happened if Ritchie had not been sacked. We can only look at the situation at the present time and speculate. At the time Ritchie was sacked, I was as sure as I needed to be that he would not turn it round to support his sacking. Has Davey got what it takes to keep us in the division this year? I don't know and neither do you. But for the very same reasons I cited above regarding Ritchie, I personally would be happy not to find out.
But that would not fit into Johnny Coachman/Manlito`s hatred of Ritchie. So it cant be true, expect Spartacus to come up with some out of context quote now that backs Manlito up. happens every time I post.
That is perfectly true but NO-ONE can say for definite that we would have been relegated and that is what I was p[ointing out. Just like NO-ONE can say at this point in time we are relegated.
