"We have to pay £150,000 for Paul Hayes and that is a hell of a lot of money for this football club. We have to run things as a business and as a tight ship - I have done that before and had no money whatsoever at Oldham. In three and a half years as manager I think I spent £60,000. We have a little more than that here and wages are not too bad but we were quoted £300,000 for a League Two striker before deadline day and we simply do not have that kind of cash to throw about"

that'll just about do it for. thank you and good night.

    Tell ya what

Why don’t you stick a couple of 100K in yourself.

The one thing that really annoys me as a football fans is how quick other fans are at spending other people money

RE: I was asked to contribute once and I did

To be honest, and if you are referring to the True Reds Bond Scheme, given the mananger we had at the time we had little or no chance of improving our team no matter how much money we had.

Yes lets pick compare like on like

The player with shortest odds on the oldham team and cdompare it to the longest rated stikers onthe Barnsley team.

Would this be the same Luke Beckett that played against us to or three times last season, for different teams if I remember rightly and was outplayed by Antony Kay each time. The same Antony Kay that can't play football!

No, bad managers, bad players and bad decisions have

led us to where we are now.

Which manager, pre administration would have stemmed the flow?

RE: Q: Would Beckett get into our side?

    probably not

A truly think that that a Hayes Nardiello partnership will come good

Hassel played at centre back in the match that he scored, Kay was in midfield.

They will only come good if they are allowed to. Someone said on here the other day that Phart was still in charge. I'm beginning to think that they are right.

They will only come good if they are allowed to. AGREED

Dont forget Nardi was injured and during that time whilst Colon was player poor, the team were still performing.

I think that He may well get his chance again on saturday
