    He was a French goalkeeper we had on trial once, played a game for the reserves - i think against Bradford, absolute *****. Let a forty yard lob slip through his fingers and into the net.

    Any more shocking players we've had on trial.

    Bart Griemink is up there with the worst too! Uggh.

    Was that the black lad with the dreadlocks? If so he was really bad.</p>

    A six foot plus Nigerian who played for the reds in a reserve match one Novembers evening.I always remember his boot laces coming undone and he was so cold one of the young players had to fasten them for him.He was subbed never to be seen again.

    That was the lad.

    McSwegen, i remember him playing one game, against Gillingham in a 4-0 win. He had a late goal chalked off for offside.
