Hi Guys - driving up to Morecambe on Saturday - any advice greatly appreciated, particularly journey time &amp; parking</p>

Hi there, parking shouldnt really be a problem, plenty of road parking in the streets opposite the ground, takes us 1 3/4 hours or so to get to Barnsley but allow a bit more for Morecambe as the road between Lancaster and Morecambe can be congested, it will probably be quicker to go to the Carnforth junction (1 after Lancaster) and go to Morecambe that way, if you do go through Lancaster though the ground is on the road into morecambe centre, dead easy to get to,
for pubs before the game go to the York Hotel, to get there you need to go past the ground for about 1/2 mile and its on your left on a hill over the railway, there's a Morecambe fans meeting there on sat to discuss the forthcoming season so you might get free sarnies,
ps if you see someone who has obviously escaped from a wedding hitch hiking in please give me a lift lol
