Lets say from now till the end of the season we lower the price of tickets to £15. Do you think this will help create a better atmosphere and make people turn up. It might be a good idea to try it as I'd think we'd make more money trying to get another 3000 into Oakwell than just the season ticket holders we seem to get these days. Surely we'd make more money and create a more positive atmosphere on matchdays. What do you think?
I think the pricing is a real issue which needs sorting. Ive a season ticket but pay for my nine yr old son and his mate. Im really incensed when we turn up to see that prices have been raised for "cat a" games. Sheperds probable thinking is "if were doing well after christmas theyll come whatever the cost"......and hes probably right but if we dont continue in the same vein then hes in trouble as hes helped alienate a lot of fans with his pricing structure. One thing that warrants a mention and it applies to all football grounds is the price of food and drinks. What an absolute rip off yet never gets brought up. Lots of school kids who annoyingly serve "the best pusher in" first and have very few manners whilst seperating you from your hard earned wedge.
if prices get lowered to £15 has you suggest till the end of the season. then has a season ticket holder who goes wind, rain or shine. i would feel disgruntled that the none season ticket holders are getting looked after better.
