Right, I've sent off the entry form and paid the £250 entry fee, over £100 of which has had to come out of my own pocket, so please pay me as soon as you can if you haven't done so already. A few of you have let me know when you'll pay me so that's fine, cheers. Others, please e-mail me. Anyway, the good news is that we're in :d (H)

Here worldNET 2006 an open invitation The 11th WorldNET will be held at The University Of Leeds' Bodington Hall over the weekend of Fri/Sat/Sun 21/22/23 July 2006. We will have 64 entries from IFA teams for this years event with squads of up to 22 players. Friday the 21st kicks off the weekend with the IFA Cup final and the usual glass of lemonade and the traditional gentleman and ladies' get together in the Bodington Bar. Saturday 22nd will see a series of games between sixteen groups of competing teams; the winners and runners-up from all groups, will automatically qualify for day two of the Cup. The 3rd and 4th placed teams from all groups will go in to the Plate Competition. Both 32 team tournaments on Sunday 23rd will adopt an FA Cup style format i.e. a sudden death knockout competition. The first round of both day two tournaments will be drawn on the Saturday evening of Worldnet; teams will then progress through their section of the draw. Anyone who hasn't been to WorldNET before is well advised to do so if only for the social side of the event, this will be the 11th event and the 7th to be held at Bodington Hall The matches are 15 minutes each way played more or less according to normal FA rules, unlike the FA we encourage women supporters to play and we play our games in a spirit unrivalled in amateur football. Book a long weekend off with your boss now and if you are thinking of getting married, divorced, spayed or having a wee nip and tuck job next July do it on any of the many other weekends which happen to come along before and after Worldnet. Enjoyment is our watchword!
Cheers mate I'd like to help out if possible. I'll let you know how my knee holds out in the 1st few weeks of the cricket season.
Cheers for the info
