Re: It's always important to be seen as being knowledgable The one thing that marked Flitcroft out last season was his ability to motivate the team after a loss to come back with a fighting performance. Lets face it everyone thought we were down after the 6-0 thrashing by Charlton at home, players looked out on their feet, but they came back. Flitcroft is inexperienced, tactically nieve at times but his motivational skills with the players have over come these negatives. So far this season he's lost his motivational mojo ,he needs to get it back because he's only a couple of heavy defeats away from the assistants job at Rochdale.
I don't think I fall into either category, to be honest. I'm a huge supporter of this club, travelling miles, spending a fortune, using up what little spare time I have to get behind the club. Not to mention the amount of time I talk about the club, via the pub, friends, colleagues, twitter, my blog, videos and of course this forum. I'm BFC all the way. I want those who represent the club to give it their best, and to do it honestly and with the best intentions. Be that the board members, the players, or management team. . I want us to do well. It hurts when we don't. So with that all said, I am right behind whoever the manager is. But I will voice concerns. It's natural and makes me more of a supporter than not.
Re: It's always important to be seen as being knowledgable I dont want him to fail, I want the Reds to win football matches. I do not like Flitcroft, I did not like Hill, but that does not mean to say I want the team to lose! I find it strange and very insulting that because I dont like the manager people think I want the team to lose! I will be a Barnsley fan a long time after Flitcroft has gone, but when he does I mat go back to Oakwell as a spectator, but I will always be passioinate about wanting the team to win, whoever is the manager, FFS I even wanted Davey to keep winning matches!
Me too. I'd even settle for us losing if the players looked like they knew what to do and were giving it a go.
