The marketing of Preedy's has been diabolical.

Revamp it, as I suggest further up this thread.......and market the product better.

I'd let Acorn Brewery or someone like that takeover Preedy's, let them refurb it at their expense and sell their beer etc and Club keeps agreed share of profit etc.

Local business gains support and supporters get a social club to be proud of at little cost to club then again assume this is within the catering deal etc!!

Are you forgetting the council in all of this and do they get any profit/rent from Preedys?

Not so straight forward I should think.

Is it still used as a Yoof club through the week?

Totally agree. I sent an email to Mansford after the first match, with some recommendations for improvement. There's lots of relatively cosmetic changes that would make a big difference. We have a facility there, which should be coining it in on match days. I don't believe we need to create something else, we just need to make changes to what we already have

'Let them refurb it at their expense'.

A bar to be used for 90 minutes by circa 100 people only 23 times a season.

Aye, proper return on investment that!

It would be much easier to try to organise a proper tail gating party in the car park

Thats one of the things i like to do when watching DC United, get to ground 3-4 hours early, go to the supporters club tail gatting tent, show my supporters club card free beer on draught from local breweries just have to pay for the food. You pay a yearly subscription think it was $80,

try it at the well #WEWANTTO TAILGATE.

You sound like a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Salesman, £365 is only a £1 a day.
£20 is £20 which is too much in one lump when you've already paid for a season ticket. Show your season ticket to get in free and charge £2 for guests. Not everyone will want to call in every single match, including me, which is why I wouldn't stump up £20. If Preedy's only holds 160, does it get full every home game? If not, something is clearly wrong with either the bar or the Marketing.

I think he's already said, that the first priority is getting... on the pitch sorted...that will bring in more fans, to pay for the cosmetic stuff..
