Anybody been to Berlin for a short break? Thinking of going for a couple of days in march with the missus.
Just got back. Went in early December with the wife and little un. I'm not sure what its like in March, but December was a good time to go (Christmas lights and markets everywhere - very festive). If you fly to Schoenfeld (sp?), there is a short walk to the station and then the train goes direct to the city centre (several large stations). Get the train, not the S-bahn (its quicker). Its well worth a trip (one of my favourite cities). Go and see the zoo, Brandenberg Gate/Bundestag (they are 100yards apart). We took a bus tour around the city to see the major sights.
