    Searching for a new PAYG mobile, but having all the latest models rammed down my throat that I can't afford. Just wanting one with a decent video camera, large hard drive capacity and long battery life - but not wanting to spend more than £50. Any ideas?

    If you can get one for £50

    get a sony ericsson k800i, had mine for 2 years now and i got it for £100 but it'll be cheaper these days. Decent camera/video, memory cards are cheap enough think mines a 2gb and ive got shed loads of videos, music and pictures on it and it int full. its totally indestructable, ive done all sorts to it, the only time it looked as if it was broke was when it was in my pocket and i got hit with a turrential downpour, i dried it out and it worked like usual. Great phone, i don't want a new one cos its got everything i need.

    I'm on O2. Was thinking of paying a bit more and getting a Samsung G600 for the 5MP camera at £69. But it isn't 3G. Then noticed I could get a LG KU990 Viewty with touch screen for 20 quid more and pretend I'd got a iphone! So much for good intentions!

    I got an LG500 (cookie) on Virgin for £8.50 a month on contract. 100 mins and 100 texts per month to any network, landlines etc. Free phone. I was topping up a tenner a month on PAYG.

    had k800 about 2 1/2 years everything you need and I wouldn't think it would cost you much more than fifty quid to pick one up given the replacements now available
