I'm interviewing tomorrow and always feel like I never do a very good job of it normally. What are the best questions anyone's ever faced?

TM "Yell...****, no, red, oh b.ollocks"

I once had a interview with a bloke with the worlds biggest twitch..

The most fun I have ever had in my head.

If you can imagine a bloke doing breakdancing moves butonly above his shoulders you'll not be far off.

I think it's a trick question, along with:

One of the sexy admin girls is bent over trying to sort out a paper jam in the photocopier, do you:

a) make a comment like "while you're down there love!"
b) grab her arse
c) ask if you can help out at all

I found this a very good one.

'Give me an example of when you took initiative to solve a problem?'

When receiving feedback, the interviewer told me this was the only question i failed on. He gave me the tip for the future of clearly referencing, in detail past experiences where i had faced a problem - any problem, not just work based and used my own initiative to solve it.

The only thing i didnt do was relate to it in enough detail.

Ask your candidates this, it will show how deep they truly go.

1. Describe to me what you think the job you've applied for involves ?

2. You've managed to attend this interview during office hours, how did you approach getting the time
off from your current job ?

3. I notice you have mightily fine breasts, do you have a boyfriend ?

I'm not likely to get a satisfactory answer to that one as I'm in the North West.

it's a psyhcobabble type question, can't do with them. How about 'what experience do you have ?'

I've already got CVs for that though. I quite like the question - it's a good one that people maight not plan for and therefore would demonstrate the ability to 1) think on their feet and 2) cope with something unexpected in a pressure situation.
