I despise the A1. So the M1 for me.

A1 a bad choice: that happened once for a Watford game would you believe it and, well, we had to ring ahead and cancel pub/food ordered.

Would have been interesting if Bradford had made it - presume they'd have directed one lot M1 and the other A1

A1 for me as I come from Lincoln.
Did it for the JPT and it was great. Fortunately our game is on a Sunday again so very little traffic, even London end was quiet, but it only takes one accident to screw things up.... as with the M1, but with the A1 there are far more chances to take side roads off and avoid problems.
    The M1 you are stuck.

Normally id prefer M1 but last couple of times the A1 has been better because of congestion and all the 50mph roadwork stretches on the m1

The M1 is a bloody nightmare with roadworks and 50 zones all over. Went to cup final last week and while the journey down was ok, the journey back was a nightmare, including a junction closure at Leicester. If you are planning on being quite late setting off back, so the night works are out on the way back, then avoid the M1. I reckon around a third of the whole journey is a 50 zone.
