    According to SSN we were willing to pay 75% / £15000? Can't see it. You'd hope he'd score 20 goals in the Championship but that's far from guaranteed.

    You have to remember they're paid unsocial hours...Time and half Saturdays and Tuesday nights...Double time Sundays...Treble on bank holidays...Soon adds up.

    Im glad we arent paying that i would imagine it would just cause problems in our dressing room with other players being much less.

    I dont know what Southampton where thinking offering him that kind of money tbh!
