I read somewhere he was available for £1.8 million so that might have gone down a bit woth Osvaldo joining. Out of the sides being linked with him in recent weeks, only Celtic can afford him.
They'd already put a valuation on him. He's never really been given the chance since they got promoted. I think we can forget about Sharp, we certainly can't afford to buy him, and I reckon his wages will have priced us out of a loan move. I think he'll end up at Celtic.
I agree and I sincerely hope the Mansford and Flitcroft arent wasting any more time on trying to patch a deal together to get Sharp as its cuckoo land. Of the names that have been mentioned, bearing in mind the type of striker we are allegedly looking for (out and out goalscorer), I still think the most realistic is Mclean, maybe on loan with a loan fee and a deep breath on wages. Which imho would be a great signing.
