Mr Tambourine Man the lyrics are amazing. I'm a massive Dylan fan also love 'All along the Watchtower' and Hendrix's version of it.

Manchester Free Trade Hall version of Like A Rolling Stone The passion in his performance just makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Imagine paying to see Dylan in the mid 60s when he sounds that good and looks that cool and his suit is that sharp and then booing him. Wnakers.

Went to see Dylan at MEN Arena the other week. Quality Best Tunes: Blind Willie McTell, Idiot Wind, Subterranean Homesick Blues Too many classics to name though

Like A Rolling Stone....... The Hurricane, and Positively 4th Street are amazing songs. The lyrics in The Hurricane, to me, are something to behold, especially since watching the film for the first time. Great film, even better song IMO.

I have to say if I was there at the time I wouldnt have booed (hell no!) but I would have been among those who would have preferred his acoustic stuff. I love the stuff he did with 'The Band' though. I'd have loved to have seen him playing in the cafe's of Greenwich Village though, that seemed like a really good place to be in the 60's.

£90 off ebay for 2 tickets. That was for seats at the back. Ones near the stage were going for £150 each!!!
"Blowin' In The Wind" of course Quite possibly the best anti-war song ever written. Some of my other favourites are "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right", "Like A Rolling Stone" and "Knockin' On Heaven's Door".
The sheer poetry of the words in 'Mr Tambourine Man' takes yer breath away. Got the new CD based on the film.
