    Best of luck to him. He should still be with us, we dropped a bollock by releasing him and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see him playing elsewhere at our level.

    It's a shame someone of his class both as a person and as an experienced football player is having to be a trialist so close to the season starting and didn't have his future sorted ages ago.

    past his best.....best of luck to him but no loss.

    The club move on without Bobby, Stonesy, Buttercup etc.

    We have had better players than all three of the above and we still exist and thrive (sometimes)

    This thread wasn't created with any other aim but to inform folk that he'd got a club, on a trial basis. Why folk need to still pull down a bloke who gave us 10 years service is beyond me. I at least understand thereev's reasons, he's just a **** WUM.

    not trying to wum at all.......I just feel that the club will move on whoever leaves....we always do.....we always have. We have had some very good players who left for decent money. It's a blow at the time but we move on...that's life I am afraid, we have no choice but to move on.

    As for Bobby, I ain't knocking him at all....hope he comes back further down the line in some capacity.

    I give silly names out to a lot of people not just JB.... example Jason (Mansford). However if it truly offends you, I will cease immediately. I also apologise for acting a bit daft on here if you don't approve but on the other hand you do seem a little sensitive.

    I will also stop calling Ben 'jason' if it offends him as I don't want to offend anyone....just come on here for a laugh tbh

    I wonder if his trial with them has more to do with his fitness levels (he's hardly played in the last four seasons) than his footballing abilities?
