Someone said they Saw a few Cardiff Fans spit at the Statue of Bobby Moore, did anyone else see this?

Ive heard stories that they also urinated on it. I cant beleive in either to be honest as those stupid enough to have done (if they did) wouldn't of been able to read his name in the first place. Everytime I walked past their was police next to the statue and they wouldn't of allowed it. I watched a orderly queue of photo's being taken next to the great mans statue with mutual respect between fans.
Like you said you heard. Or at least somebody did. Don't go jumping the bandwagon thinking it did happen as if they did there would of been arrests made as the police were right by, you would of seen that yourself. This is one of the things just about every Cardiff fan has denied while they hold their hands up at the other things that went on.
it'll be one of those "hard lads" that left school, straight into a job in McDonalds or the like, and dont know what the internet is. saying that, sure every clubs got some of those fans
In all seriousness though Cardiff fans would not urinate on his statue. The worst which I took offence too is people who climbed on it with flags to have their photo taken. I saw the pictures not actual event. Ok maybe they have seen people do it on other statues throughout London and feel its ok, but I don't. It is however none of my business. West Ham fans have apparently taken this in good heart.
A neutral fan commented re this on 606 to be fair we never saw anything but Cardiff fans taking photos of the statue, did see bad behavour elsewhere from them though
Just in case you missed my apology, mate http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/fo...s=1&highlight=Arnside&highlightmode=1#M683213
