Just had a five way over garden fence conversation with neighbours , Me next door either side and two over backs . Funny at first but it works just a bit too cold at moment for a lengthy chat can see a party with neighbours when it gets a bit warmer without leaving our gardens lol. That’s if we can get some ale from somewhere
I would have thought John Peachy would have posted a link to the mighty Buzzcocks by now. Or perhaps, Magazine, depending which version you prefer. (Buzzcocks for me - best guitar solo of all time).
You could learn British Sign Language. They’re currently offering their online introductory course on a pay what you can basis, which includes for free if you’re feeling stretched.
i went to Eyam today. I thought it was quite appropriate to go to village that quarantined itself during the bubonic plague! There's a shop there that sells nice cake - when I got there, the shop was completely stripped empty, with a notice up saying that it was closed until further notice due to "underlying health issues".
I guess i'm lucky that i never have the time to be bored. On my days off (think i'll be required to work most of these shortly) i walk the dog 3 times a day. I walk mysef twice, sometimes into town to buy a few bits. Then i have my chores to do inbetween: cook, clean and some days pick the grandkids up from school. All this gets me to 7pm ish when i am found to be laid out knackered on the settee. Sometimes work seams an awful lot easier
Think most are staying in now yes it's very boring no sport, no pubs, cautious about visiting any family or friends. Sadly it will get worse before it gets better could win lottery and wouldnt be able to do a right lot with it at the minute.
Just watched my Pink Floyd DVD from Earls Court in 1994. The Pulse concert. About 20k in the audience and not 1 mobile phone being waved about. Amazing
I can't take much more of this - if the BBC show any more Mrs Brown's Boys, I'm driving to Bergamo and taking my chances.
