    I would imagine long term, if we are paying 6 figure fees for them.

    A couple of quotes stand out

    “It is not just designed for this window, but a three or four transfer window progression to get a squad of our own with the right blend to compete to get us back in the Championship.”

    “Danny and I are trying to attract the very best players we can and we are willing to play a waiting game. If we do get them, they will be reasonable coups for us and I think people will sit up and take notice."

    It also states "they may have to play a waiting game as it stands" which makes me think they are not for now and clubs would be reluctant to loan players out that are not getting games. So i think they are permanent deals.

    Are we definitely ruling out Mackay-Steven?

    The bid Sheff United had turned down was a reported 70k so going on that he's not out of our price range.

    Plus Mansford said young (i'd say 24 was young) and significant (which signing him would be). So he fits everything but the waiting game comment. Dunno why the article thinks Brad Abbott is a striker though.

    We all know they'd accept less than that too. The pull of Celtic may be too good a chance to turn down though.
