    Nice to know it hurts them as much as it hurts us. My mate (who is a huge Brian Howard fan, I'll add) has just seen him in the VIP area of a nightclub in Sheffield with Sam Togwell. I don't know if hes drinking or not, but it hardly inspires me to hear that after a performance as pathetic as that one, he's out living it up. Though I suppose that performance was enough to drive anyone to alcohol.

    Not suggesting owt by it before anyone starts, just passing it on...

    Told my mate in the new Nightclub in town after the Brum match

    that all the squad hate Davey

    So my mate threw his ticket at Howard and told himto **** off.

    Howard tried to slip off but my mate didn't let him.

    He was out with Letherhan

    Do you think he should be out getting pissed in Sheffield 2 hours after an embarrassingly poor display, laughing and joking with his mates? He's the club captain for christs sakes, he should have been too embarrassed to even show his face.

    I don't want him to be replaced.

    I want him to be the Brian Howard that's been so effective for the last 2 or 3 years. Wherever he is, he's gone missing for the majority of this season. It can't all be attributed to the players around him and the midfield being bypassed, because when he has the ball, he isn't doing a lot with it, and when he doesn't have the ball, he ain't tracking back anywhere near as much as he did last year.

    Having a drink AFTER the match. I can see no problem with it , if

    he does not over do it. Before the match is a different matter.
    Do you ever have a drink after a bad day at work/ I certainly do, more so than after a good day.
    If Brian Howard had been out in Sheffield on MONDAY night then I could see more reason to worry.

    We'd just lost and he'd been woeful. The team had been woeful. A couple of hours later, our club captain, who should be devastated and ashamed by our team's performance and his own personal performance, is out drinking vodka shots, laughing and joking.

    It worries me in that sense, and it worries me because I can only assume that he doesn't have training the next day. If they can get away with a performance like that and not train the next day, it staggers me.
