JCR might have been on a low wage, then he signed a new contract then about 4 months later we offered him yet another. Just seems odd to me that it is such a different stance than with howard

Because the club learnt a big lesson after penny pinching with Howard hence a spate of players being offered new contracts.

he messed us around I was happy when he was here but got too big for his own boots after liverpool and chelsea, he looked disinterested after that. His only interview last season after his goal against coventry and he was only bothered because he got off the mark.. after that i for one was glad to see the back of him, he could have left the club in a better fashion
