    No, wrong

Still the most likely player to create something.

We were shocking against Blackpool in the cup but who created the winning goal with abit of class?

Has been poor by his own standards recent weeks, but he hasn't trusted Toggers/McCann to cover for him so he's been inhibited in his attacking play. He then ends up doing neither one thing (helping screen our defence) or the other (driving forward at their defence). Consequently, the game seems to pass him by as he is in "no mans land" half the time.

A good defensive midfielder signed and Howard will flourish again.

If he played consistant for long period he would not be with us, the whole team has under perforformed in last few games.
But if you look at some of the results that could have gone our way, you may not be having a go at him and getting behind
    the whole team.

Is this ok for you Madmark?

Brian Howard always looks to play forward and be progressive. Devaney and Howard have been my two players of the season so far (can't count Da Silva as he isn't here). Just got to get the pair of them to pass to each other and we'd be unbeatable!

Agree that both of them have done well.

He hasn't been at his best recently but he certainly hasn't been one our worst players. The biggest problem we've had recently is that neither Togwell or McCann have had the quality to fill in for Anderson, and as a result Howard simply has had far more to do in the middle of the park. When we had Anderson he was able to fulfill the Togwell role as ball winner but was also comfortable on the ball and would get forward, this allowed Howard to get forward more in the knowledge that he had a quality player alongside him who would be able to pick out his runs. Since Anderson has left Howard has been coming a lot deeper searching for the ball, but as a result there hasn't been anyone further forward making the kind of runs Howard specialises in. Basically Howard and Anderson were an ideally suited midfield pairing and they brought the best out of each other, however since he left Howard hasn't been anywhere near as effective due to Togwell and McCann being inadequate replacements.
