Just trawling through most of the posts about Burns and just wondered where the transfer window fits into all this! It is now closed apart from emergency loans and I am not even sure that top flight clubs can make emergency loans apart from goalies! Surely then the trial is just for them to look at him with a view to a move at the end of the season, when his contract ends anyway! As I see it he cant move for a fee now and no fee will be neccessary at the end of the season.
Can someone explain how it would be possible for him to move now - as my understanding of loan transfers is sketchy at best.

He is a bit David Yip.

I'll trust Rich Tea o this. He's not done so bad so far. I'd have done a few things different like but that's why I'm a tw@t at a computer screen and Andy Ritchie's the manager of a professional football club.

That would not be workable! They can sign but we cant sell! The window is the same throughout FIFA surely!

Thats what I reckon too mate. There aren't that many nations that apply the transfer windows of England, Scotland, Italy, Spain, France etc

yeh i would agree was just going for a stab in the dark (like sol) as far as i understand transfer windows though you can sell players anytime. A player can move to a club anytime is just down to the transfer window as to when they can be registered to play for the new club

Wouldn't we have to release Burns so that another team could pick him up? Even if Polish teams can sign players we can't sell.
Either that or they could loan him.

Transfer window is a F.I.F.A thing, so surely it applies to Poland as well?
