Your taking this too far, deceiving people with poll that helps you with your phobia of caravans making sure you can't lose. What you need is fortnight touring the east coast, its sure to kill or cure your problem.
???????????? deceiving? I don't make people vote-and there were positive options-the general consensus is double road tax!!!
RE: Nick Clegg unveils election winning strategy................ Or scrap your caravan and get £2000 off a motorhome.
They are niether Road Taxed, MoT'd or compulsory insured, all should happen. I have a tourer myself, this is used for short breaks but also to back up a hobby that needs me to get to some fairly remote areas where not many hotels abound.I have my Van serviced annually and its fully comp insured.I have also approached my car insurers as to advice from their point when I tow it.Too many vans are on the road in a terrible unroadworthy condition. Also there is little control over the vehicles towing ability, many are just not up to the job for the size of van.The law should enable the police to random check caravan towing vehicles for suitability. Double road tax is just plain silly, but compulsory Insurance and an MoT is sensible. If you have a go at caravanners then you have to include ALL trailer towing, this includes farmers ,burger vans, and various other busineses. How many times have you seen some clown with an overloadedtrailer. Perhaps even a certification as an add on to the standard licence to certify the drivers capabilty and awareness for towing.
read my post below, I believe its more sense you would be amazed at how many have no insurance for the van, and the normal car insurance does not cover towing at all.
Hardly an election winner Paul. Currently 'Double tax' has around 25% of the vote - pretty much where the Lib Dems polled in the last local elections. They'd need a much more popular policy than that. How about - we would make it legislation for Chris Moyles and Russell Brand to fight to the death, with the winner having to commit suicide. By sandpapering themselves into nothingness.
sticks and stones etc..........but on what grounds.......... would you tax cyclists? no pollution don't break up the road surface
if more people cycled rather than drove the roads would be in a far better state
