    When was the last time we beat a team from a higher division in a cup competition?

    I can't remember it happening since that season when we beat Swansea, Brighton & Man City before losing in a replay to Liverpool. Think that was either the 80/81 season or 81/82.

    why'm I not surprised?

    whilst teams from a lower division we've lost to lately include Macclesfield, Bury, Scnuthorpe, Stoke (Corbo scored)...I bet there must be 10 since that West Ham game.

    League cup - Millenium season IIRC.
    Bradford City (prem) vs Barnsley (Div 1 as was)
    We won. Don't remember the score but Morgan notched his first senior goal.

    Might have been 3-2.
