Meaningless. Context. Blah, blah. Just thought I would be first to say it. My word would really be - Embarrassing.
What a great way to remember our 125th year, eh? And yet some folk are lauding Sidekick (as they did Keith) now because we had a good second half against fcukin' PETERBOROUGH....
Disgusting !!!! Please can we have the return to the days of John Dennis, Danny Wilson, debt, death or glory, ambition, and more than anything.... something to look forward to on match days.
i'd never though of looking at it like that merlin, its a fu@kin joke, and its beyond me how anybody can still back hill....this sacking has come 6 months too late for me.
I can remember than less six months ago when some people, I won't mention any names, were giving it the billy big ******** because Hillcroft were the management team that they wanted when Robins got the sack and how right they were being proved
I've got to agree YT, if the club were to design a 125th year I think the one Hill has given us would be about as far away from the blueprint as it's possible to get. He got too long and we will probably pay very dearly for that hesitation.
Some people were still backing Hill a week ago. That is truly shocking, awful, embarassing and pathetic. The players should hang their heads as well. ****.
I have openly admitted that he was my choice to replace Robins. And I did defend him after a dodgy start. I then sung his praises when we were doing well. However, I never once gave it any billy big ********. And, indeed I shared my misgivings on here from February onwards, but stated a desire to keep with it, give him until at least Xmas this season (I said that in June 2012 on this board). And I did give him until then, pretty much. I only gave up on him after the Wednesday defeat on the 15th Dec. When lots of people WERE giving it billy big ********, after the Brum 5-0, I posted just once that day. I stated that folk were going OTT, that it was just one game, and that no, Jacob Mellis isn't is as good as Jacob Butterfield. The thread was summat like "Do we miss Jacob Butterfield?" look it up. I will end this post by admitting once more that I wanted Keith Hill here. I will admit he has failed, and thus I now believe I'm a poor judge of manager. I wanted Spackman too. I also said Hammill was ***** and a one-trick pony the day before he scored a pre-season hat-trick. I said Vaz Te was an awful laiker, too. I rated Mike Sheron, and believed that Rob Atkinson would go on to represent England. I'm awesome.
