RE: Thats the problem now as demand has far suceeded

Pehaps we should all go to Hugh's lovely shop and buy all his chickens.

Ah well, but at least he probably has made no profit from the programme.

Thats been the thought for years...

And was the sole reason I started eating Free range.

The free range farmers say that once there is more demand for free range they can stock up and sell at a more reasonable price.

Are you that naive to think that is what his ulterior motive is?

Do you think he wants all of Britain to go to his shop?

Does he think we will all get in our cars and set off to his shop 4 hours away to get a free range chicken?

    Yep

    Bought free-range eggs for years.

Try to buy at least freedom food and free-range when they are reduced.

Most important bit i think is to eat less of it but better quality. We have made our chicken last 4 meals + sandwiches and I'll be boiling the carcass for soup tonight.

Good. I never waste any food on my plate. Every we buy always eaten Im like that. Thats why I don't waste money on more expensive meat just because the supermarket has stuck a different label on it.

    I heard on the radio

One of the supermarkets (ASDA maybe?) is reporting that sales of free range chickens/eggs have risen since the publicity from Hugh whatisface but they are also reporting caged/battery sales have also increased the same ammount.

    Of course not.

However, it'll not be long before his ungly mug is all over free range stuff in supermarkets.

Fair play to him though, he gets to be on TV, makes a **** load of money, then mugs buy his stuff.

So you'll pander to the ridiculous requirements of a cruel, misogynistic medieval cult but you don't mind creatures being tortured to death to save you a few bob?

But a month is 30 days

Even if taken out of the hen's arse half an hour before brought to you that's still 9 days over the limit.
