Was about to post the same mate. I had respect for Kamara before but to question the expectations at Barnsley, to say Davey has had very little money to spend and to say he has done very well to keep us in the division is utter B*ll*cks!
Our expecations are simple. We don't want a 4th consecutive relegation battle. That shouldn't be too much to ask. We aren't after promotion.
Yes Kamara should have done some research into how much money davey actually had to spend and should also watch some of the ***** that has been served up before he opens his mouth and questions the expectations at the club.
Chris Kamara knows nothing about football. He just shouts a lot and thinks it's acceptable. We shouldn't even give him the time of day when it comes to his opinion.
What part of 1 point in opening 5 games Lost last 4 games Lost all 3 home games scoring only 1 goal and conceding 8 does he not quite grasp? Reading where there for the taking yesterday, at 1-0 we were completely on top with chances to extend the lead - it could have been so different had that clearance richochet off Gray gone a few feet to the left, but after that we shot ourselves in the foot, not once but 3 times. The defence are just not good enough, Moore's pace is completely shot, as good a player as he has been he should hang his boots up. Kozluk is just an accident waiting to happen (in fact it's happened twice already this season), El Haimour can't tackle, which leaves Foster trying to hold it all together.
Just never got over being snubbed by us ...and I'm glad we never let him have the job as manager. He would've been the worst in our history. The guy knows nothing but runs his mouth about us as if he's been in close quarters with us. What does he think gives him the authority to speak about us? Whenever something happens at Oakwell he talks like he's Mr Barnsley football club. Any of those idiots on the TV who are talking about the 'fact' that we should've been grateful for Davey and stuck with him are just happy to see us get relegated. What a pointless attitude. Do they expect us to just sit at the bottom of the league and say it's ok because we're only Barnsley? Well they can get stuffed for me. Steve Claridge exactly the same way. I can't wait until we're back on our feet and we get to that safe midtable position that we know we can sustain as a football club.
"El Haimour can't tackle" He might be able to if he were ever within ten yards of his man. Moore could barely walk yesterday. He's old and slow at the best of times. Yesterday he was evidently injured to boot. How can a manager justify playing the walking wounded five games into the campaign? Still, he wasn't the worst man on the pitch. In a game where it was difficult to pick a man of the match, the wooden spoon contest was much easier. El Haimour put in the most inept shift I have ever seen from anyone in a Barnsley shirt - and there's been some competition over the years. Even Paul Gibbs actually stuck to task better than that lad. His positioning was all over the place and all Reading's dangerous play came from our left.
