    Sad news but I'm sure somebody on here will link him to us in summer transfer news. Either that or the question will be raised whether we'd have him back. I hate the summer rumour mill.

    I quite liked him when he was here. Plenty of effort and a bit of skill. But he left under a bit of a cloud. Can't remember the specifics exactly, but I believe we offered him a contract and he pissed about to see if anything else was available. Eventually we got fed up of this and withdrew the contract. We played in The Championship for the next 8 years and he stayed in League 1 and below. I can't imagine Tranmere offered him any more than we did. I wonder if he regrets all that. I would imagine he does.

    a bit under rated in my opinion, was surprised a bigger club didn't come in for him, no disrespect to Tranmere
