    I do find it incredible at how out of shape some refs are. Isn’t it a prerequisite if their job to be athletic and fit so that they can keep up with play ?!

    Well they do take stringent fitness ‘tests’ However, I have to say the fittest are not always those that may look the part in terms of being the leanest etc.
