Yesterday was our 20th consecutive game without a clean sheet!

This isn't a thread knocking the team I just thought it would make interesting discussion to find out what fans would blame for this? Formation? Midfield? A specific player? And also what you'd change or who you'd want bringing in to help sort this out?

Personally I think midfield is largely to blame as they offer little protection to the back four so I think we need scowen back and another strong in the tackle wise head to sit in front of the back four!

I'm still not sold on Mawson either seems abit too casual at times to me!

One thing I will say though is that with the right additions and a little organisation 4-4-2 is 100% the best formation to tighten up central midfield without affecting our attacking play.

Just my opinions what about everyone else?

    Centre backs that switch off
    Keeper out of form
Lack of defensive quality in front of back four
Not killing off teams who therefore don't throw towel in
    Bad luck

Think I'd agree with all that. Needs to change if we are to climb the league having to score 3 goals every game to pick up points is a big ask

Combination of mistake prone defenders and goalkeeper who have little confidence in each other.

Also poor cover from central midfielders and wingers alike.

Hourihane's tackling has got better , relatively speaking, but some of his attempted tackles yesterday were comical to say the least!

Our midfield has been dire, defensively, all season. Full of holes.

We make a mistake every game. 4-4-2 without a defensive midfielder doesn't help either.

I'm not that fussed though, I'd rather see us scoring goals than keeping clean sheets.

People will moan that it's boring and then they will moan because we're not keeping clean sheets.

As was demonstrated by Fleetwood yesterday we are very susceptible to a counter attack when we look wide open. We need better defenders and a midfield that has a good holding player. I am not sure we have one at the club. Where they come from I do not know.

At present we have manager who is bullet proof because we can't afford to sack him. He seems to be floundering and struggling to address our problems with players who are willing to commit to the club or is it the club who are unwilling to commit to players.

    We are in B***ers muddle.

You cannot beat lovely clean flannelette sheets on a cold winters night.... they really are snuggly warm.
