    I thought that it was on here that I read that Colchester were trying to do a deal with us for him. The best light in which I can paint him is that he did not settle up here in comparison to London. It has clearly not worked for him and I would be hoping, from his point of view, that the Colchester offer comes to something which is acceptable to both clubs and player. Shame. Not sure why. Well thought of at QPR by their fans.

    I wonder if he had a number of games clause in his contract as part of the fee? Maybe we didn't want pay anymore money and as such transferred him on a free.

    I hope he makes what he can from football, there's definitely a talent there. But as the old saying goes, "Hard work will beat talent if talent doesn't work hard". You just fear for him. Two championship clubs have effectively let him go. I sense a few similarities to what happened with Digby.
