Agree but today he didn't do nothing wrong today. Coles finishing and the defenders are the issue. Not 1 of the centre backs are good enough for promotion team. They are all bottom half league 1 defenders

    why?

I haven’t been a fan but this is crazy

he’s done well with the hand he’s been dealt

we still have a great chance of going up

0 chance mate. We will get play offs and be shafted out immediately

I hope you are correct though and I'm totally wrong

He's gradually made the hand he was dealt worse. So it seems

He no way deserves to be sacked but he’s got a annoying habit of making the team worse with his substitutions

    I am definitely correct mate.

My point is not that Collins has done an amazing job, but that calling for him to be sacked is nuts.

I think it’s totally unfair to have expected automatic promotion based on the level of investment

We will get in the play offs which I think is a reasonably decent achievement

we have a shout at winning them - assume you watched us against Bolton / Derby who is probably who we play in the final if we get there?

    Do you think so?

he wasn’t responsible for Cole’s god awful miss today, nor the refs god awful decision making (the first penalty)

fairly sure Jalo’s goal was onside too - need to watch again.

Not happy with his substitutions. Not happy with his insistence on playing Cadden no matter what. Not happy with him thinking O Keefe is the answer to unlock a team when we are chasing the game. BUT
sacking him now would be madness.

Since the Bolton game, we've regressed. In my opinion.

He hasn’t done well with the hand he’s been dealt.

The centre halves aren’t as good as we had last season I’ll grant - but they aren’t as shockingly bad as his team’s defending suggest.

Not one single player has improved under his regime, the defending has looked fundamentally poor and never got better and they’ve had months and months of his coaching.

They won’t sack him: there’s little point in doing so; and having got this far in the season he should get to see it out most would argue.

I’d have got rid a while back - I would have done Friday too. Now - to be honest I don’t see the point. Horse has bolted really.

I don’t think he’s the answer though and I don’t buy into this poor hand rhetoric. The division is dross and even taking the defensive players we lost, our squad is top two or three on paper. Look at the sides above us, and not looking at the odd individual; who has a stronger squad? I’d argue one or two sides tops.

We have underachieved. The team looks worse now than it did at the start of the season. We concede for fun. We can score if in the mood; but can get beat by literally anyone.

I predict we will finish top six, just, and that we’ll lose out relatively comfortably over two legs to whoever we face.

Next season if we remain in league one looks a very difficult proposition. There’s quality and money coming up, and those coming down will have an advantage. I really worry we are missing the boat here and are in danger of being left behind for a very long time.

Great chance? Mathematically perhaps. But certainly not due to any form.

We haven't played well for a full 90 minutes all year, yet you assume we'll suddenly buck the trend and be brilliant for 180 minutes against a team also in the top 6? I'll have a pint of whatever your supping, although I suspect what you and a few others on here are supping is coming from Collins himself, so I'll leave it.

We've got one consistant(ish) player, and he isn't even ours. Nothing more. Defence is an out-and-out shambles, midfield is slow, ponderous and negative, and the strikers, barring McAtee are slow, weak and devoid of anything resembling passion, pride, nouse, guile or ability.

We've also got a Head Coach who is dull, emotionless and tactically unaware. And you can tell with the players. Earl looked like a world-beater, got rave reviews and played out of his skin....until Collins knocked that out of him on the training pitch. Connell, shadow of his past-self, Kane, Cole, Cadden, Phillips??? They can't all have suddenly become rubbish. Common denominator...all coached by Collins.

Tell me, what's your prediction for the first leg of the Play-Off Semi Final?

We haven't got a good chance of promotion our only hope is these players heads have dropped and they accepted the play offs and will pick up if we reach them.
