Since Tuesday night my computer seems to have got into the habit of switching itself of, I thought that maybe it was overheating so checked the CPU temp and that doesn't get above 30c, also thought perhaps it was a virus but did a full scan and nothing was found.
Just done a system restore to a couple of days before the problems started so hopefully that might resolve it but just in case does anyone have any ideas?

    TIA (Y)

I would take the side off the computer and see for yourself if the fan on the processor is free or is clogged up. Last one i had in that did that it was the graphics card fan that had got clogged up but they had left it too long and it ended up taking the whole system.

Check your power settings in control panel just in case.

Check the power supply see if it smells of burning , but the one cause that i have come across most is the processor overheating.
