    Am I the only one to spot the article in today’s Chronicle. The Belgian courts last month issued a European arrest warrant on Conway and he was arrested in Spain on six fraud charges. He is currently in jail in Barcelona fighting extradition back to Belgium. Sorry if this has been posted earlier.

    If he is tried and convicted of any of the charges against him, it ought to be automatic that all football interests are rescinded and any shares returned to clubs.

    Can someone legally minded on here tell me if it's a thing, or I'm just making this up...

    If you're a shareholder in a company, and you're found guilty of a crime, the other board members can force you to sell whatever shares you hold in the company as you're tarnishing and potentially impacting share price due to your criminality?

    I've no idea.

    Depends if there is a shareholder agreement regarding criminal conviction and compulsory buy-back of shares.
