    I mean he technically had a successful loan period at Barnsley in that all parties involved successfully signed all relevant documents and all contracts were upheld. I'm reading that as a compliment to the admin at Barnsley and Bolton rather than anything he did.

    I like to think that the slightly clumsy wording is on purpose, and they're actually going for "successful loan spell at Chester, successful loan spell at Torquay, successful loan spell at Oldham and... erm... recent loan spell at Barnsley".

    They can say whatever they want that suits there agenda. I read last week that George Smith is unwanted and severely lacking match practice at Barnsley. Despite playing the best part of 50 games in the last season and a half for us.
