    I don’t want anyone to get into any arguments before we start!

    I don’t do Facebook anymore so wondered if the group was still active and if anything had developed since Luke Goddard did his presentation in the Garrison?

    Depending on ‘other stuff’ I sometimes don’t come onto the forum for a few days so apologies if I’ve missed anything on here regarding it.

    I'm still a member- for morbid curiosity mainly.

    There's been no post from anyone 'in charge' since Luke jacked in the other month. The only posts on there are from regular folk saying Conway out etc, or mainly criticising the 'sheep' who still go.

    Oh and one chap seems to hate Gally.

    There's no talk of new owners, proof of funds, further meetings or demonstrations etc.

    Turns out it was a hoax....

    It's a real shame they were a bunch of idiots. A decent group opposing the ownership would be a good thing in my opinion. Instead we will likely just start hemorrhaging supporters and many will never come back.

    It seemed very unlikely to succeed from Day 1. A Facebook Group full of disgruntled football fans was never gonna end well…or start well.

    This^ any boycott needed the supporters trust backing this never happened as the group didnt like the st or want them on board. Conman has no intention of speaking with the supporters trust by the looks and there has been a total neglect of the club for a long time now which has set us back years. Shame that now the club will just lose supporters left right and center and once they go its hard to get them back.

    I left as I kept calling them out and touched a nerve. They didn't like the fact I defended (mostly) the BBS too. A lot of their posts were simply anti-BBS

    Like the OP I have often wondered if they were still going and what the member count was. Think it had dipped below 3k at the point I left.

    It was all a load of ****** from start to finish. Started of with some guy pretending to be a local businessman Owner claiming himself and a group of other local businesses men had started the group. But the other guys wanted to remain anonymous for now. They could change the group name because they had had 10K posters printed. Then everyone was saying what’s the alternative, so they invented an alternative with this backer. Then that guy left when he was outed. Luke then steps in and made a fool of himself before realising and taking a step back.

    Nothing surprises me in the world of Facebook Groups. It’s a shame there were so many people desperate enough to want to believe in it. I do genuinely believe there probably was someone…but I suspect it was nothing like serious. Any serious bidder would have never touched a Facebook Groups in a billion years.
